Imran Noorani Named Peak Power’s New CSO and Late Founder

Peak Power is thrilled to announce the promotion of Imran Noorani to Chief Strategy Officer and Late Founder.

In 2019, Imran joined as Director of Corporate Development and has been a key part of Peak’s growth. In 2020, he took the role of VP of Corporate Development and expanded strategic partnerships. This resulted in new deals and funding through sources such as FedDev Ontario, system operator innovation projects, government facilities, and Crown Corporations. In total, we raised $21M in funding. “From day one, Imran has been as committed as any founder. We’re happy to make it official.” says CEO and Co-founder, Derek Lim Soo.

Imran brings with him over a decade of experience in the energy sector. His new role will have him overseeing corporate development, partnerships, and product. Peak Power is growing, which can cause silos as teams expand. This move will better align these departments to where the market is headed.

Peak Power is paving a way for the building sector, a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, to be part of the solution. Imran has been instrumental in developing this vision. As CSO, his focus is to “put the environment on the balance sheet”. “Costs have always been a barrier to environmental progress.” says COO and Co-Founder Matthew Sachs, “With Imran leading strategy and product, we’re going to break that barrier with technologies that save money and help the environment.”

The Peak team congratulates Imran on this latest chapter of his career!
