Toronto, ON – Peak Power (Peak) – a Toronto-based cleantech company providing energy solutions, including building insights, energy storage, and vehicle-to-grid technologies – is pleased to announce it has expanded its executive team with the hire of Charanjit Singh, Jeremy Bower, Elaine Kwok, and Shaun Ishwanthlal.

Charanjit Singh, VP, Finance
Charanjit has senior finance experience with a career spanning software, energy, and buildings materials industries, which are completely aligned with Peak Power’s areas of focus. With over 20 years of experience in all aspects of financial stewardship in medium and large entities, including CRH and Ontario Power Generation, Charanjit will be providing financial leadership to increase overall enterprise value as the company transforms from start-up to scale-up.
Jeremy Bower, VP, Software
Jeremy is a hands-on technology leader with over 20 years of experience in web and mobile apps, cloud computing, data science, and information systems security at start-ups and large enterprises. With a strong track record of building agile software teams to deliver production-grade software, Jeremy will oversee the scaling of Peak’s commercial software deployments.
Elaine Kwok, Director, Marketing
Elaine has over 15 years of experience navigating heavily regulated retail industries, including pharma, healthcare, energy, and travel. She brings proven expertise in leading all aspects of marketing strategy and execution. With experience in building out marketing capacities in organizations of all sizes, Elaine will lead Peak’s marketing function to grow their public presence and brand awareness locally and globally.
Shaun Ishwanthlal, Director, Energy Markets
Shaun has extremely deep technical knowledge of the key energy markets where Peak Power is focused. A former Senior Trader at Brookfield Renewable with over 20 years’ experience in energy market trading across PJM, IESO, ISO-NE, NYISO, SERC, and MISO, Shaun will be leading Peak’s power markets function. Tying in his commodity experience, he will oversee all of Peak’s market operations, and ensure Peak maximizes the value driven to customers through electricity market value streams.
