About Peak Power

Peak Power was founded under the belief that battery energy storage has the potential to fundamentally disrupt the energy sector. CEO, Derek Lim Soo, had worked in the renewable energy industry long enough to see the growth of wind and solar, and in 2015 realized that storage would follow a similar trajectory. By focusing on the software solutions that forecast grid needs and optimize the operation of energy storage systems, Peak was able to carve out a niche helping building owners and developers get greater returns from their investments. Peak has since expanded on their product offerings by using their expertise in forecasting and optimization to develop additional solutions for building owners and utilities.
